USING GOOGLE SEARCH FOR ENGLISH GRAMMAR LEARNING

Background/Purpose: Second/foreign language learners face problems in different areas such as correct word usage, grammatical accuracy, and pronunciation fluency. This paper responds to one of these by investigating the impact strategic Google Search on Iranian English a foreign (EFL) learners’ grammar learning.
 
 Methodology: Sixty intermediate EFL from private institute Isfahan, Iran were selected randomly divided into two groups. To find which are most problematic among participants, multiple-choice pretest was validated five experts given them. Then 10 questions that participants answered wrongly challenging ones. During class sessions, taught how select choice through Search. In fact, each participant had laptop connected internet. The researcher them search strategically found out sites there some sentences grammatically wrong they should not trust They learned for choices. At end sessions posttest containing but same areas. both conducted while internet sites.
 Findings: Data analysis done running t-test using SPSS software statistically significant difference revealed. findings showed those who use performed better posttest. Therefore, results revealed improved knowledge. Contributions: study has several implications teachers regarding platform learning. addition, it contributes body knowledge does only improve also make less dependent thus promoting autonomous Keywords: search, learners, learning, Iran, web-based instruction.
